This was my favorite pokemon series AND I WAS REALLY PISSED OFF WHEN IT STARTED DISAPPEARING AND NOW ITS COMPLETLY GONE IN NORWEGIAN THE LAST SIGN OF LIFE IN THE SERIES IS GONE I STILL HAVE POKEMON TV ON MY PHONE AND I AM STILL PISSED OFF SINCE ITS GONE ITS THE BEST POKEMON SHOW

sun and moon was really good its just the major art style revamp was what triggered most people even me but sun and moon was really good in my opinion

They put so much effort into the series and it was apparent, they didnt stick to one artstyle but changed it for certain moments to portray emotion

I watched pokemon sun and moon over 8 times in different languages

I'm pretty sure Journeys would have to be considered the best; It gets rid of a lot of the cringe from Sun and Moon, has good animation, and takes things fairly seriously (also lots of nostalgia kicks for the "older" fans like myself who grew up with the original series). Regardless, Pokémon, or at least Ash's televised journeys, ended with XY for me. Sun and Moon, Journeys, and the new movies are all just weird alternate universe reboots that don't fit with the original chronology. I haven't watched most of Journeys, but the last 20 episodes or so are a real nice send off to the series for any long-time fans who actually stuck around (a small number for sure). Very glad they're trying something different with Horizons (although I probably won't be watching that either). IMO the best video media Pokémon has produced since XY has undoubtedly been the mini series, short story videos, and MVs that they've posted on RUclips!

So sorry pokemon fans but in all the animes that i watch i dont even watch anime bro i bidge the horizon just in 1 or 2 days and with school too

Bro i watched it almost every day after i seen the whole series

I fell off the anime after Ash lost at the Kalos league. That seemed like the perfect time for him to finally win. He’d really matured as a character, built a fantastic team and gave it his all. Then the gen 7 anime happened and it seemed like his character was fully reset, like X and Y never even happened. So I bailed, and I don’t regret it.

I feel like Mimikyu was the most thought out of all of team rocket’s Pokémon to this day.

I really liked both the Sun and Moon games and the Anime, having lived in Hawaii as a young child with a dad in the Navy. I personally liked Lana... a lot, though being a Primarina fan I have obvious bias. Still, I agree that it'd be nice if we could have given the other characters a chance to have more character growth. In a perfect world we'd be able to get a full character arc for each of the characters and they'd all be interesting, but in the real world choices have to be made on who to focus on, especially for a series like Pokemon where they have to finish the current series in time to move on to a new series when the next mainline games come out. Also, Kiawe was awesome, agreed.

wait that was 7 years ago? HUH?! i keep thinking it was the latest one even though ive played violet. x and y will always be recent to me, i grew up with it and it made a big impression on me although on that note, i do hope that one day they return to the older style for a fitting environment with the right characters (maybe they have, i havent checked in a while) i liked sun and moons plot but i also really like the older style and the gym battling vibe

X and y is a banger series watched first episode and a bit of the second and loved it
